Kyokushinryu Karate Rank 5th Dan (Go dan)

Shihan Ritubartan Rai is a 5th Dan Karateka with a rich competitive history.

He has participated twice in world tournaments and twice in Asia tournaments.

His experience spans various countries, having competed in Japan, Kuwait, Indonesia, China, Singapore, and India.

Ritubartan Rai has also been a participant in the Local Singapore All-Style Martial Arts Champion and earned the title of Best Fighter in 2002

His Karate dan gradings are as follows:
2024 – 5th Dan (Singapore)
2018- 4th Dan (Singapore)
2012- 3rd Dan (Shanghai, China)
2008- 2nd Dan (Singapore)
2003 – 1st Dan (Singapore)

Shihan Rai worked for the Singapore Police Force, Gurkha Contingent as part of the Gurkha Special Action Group and was the Branch Chief for the Gurkha Contingent Karate Dojo (Dojo cho) for 2 years until 2024. He also served as a committee member for over 5 years in Singapore Oyama Kyokushin Karate (SOKK).

Shihan Rai is currently the Branch Chief for International Karate Alliance Kyokushinryu, Nepal and is also an instructor for unarmed tactics, combat and firearms.
